Job Title: Operations Administrator
Reports to: Connections and Provisioning Manager
Hours of Work: 09:00 - 17:30pm, Monday to Friday
An opportunity exists for a reliable, motivated and numerate individual to join the Zest4 team. Zest4 offer a full range of communications products and solutions via a network of Channel Partners across the UK. The underlying objective of this Operations Administrator role is to support our channel partners across the UK to administrate and service the telephony solutions connected via Zest4. The role involves checking contract paperwork, liaising with partners and suppliers to resolve issues, processing connection requests at network level and accurately updating our internal systems with billing information. Duties also include stock fulfilment, where the tasks include ordering on supplier portals, updating internal systems and occasionally dispatching stock directly to partners. The successful candidate will also be trained to be an important backup resource on our busy Service Desk, answering calls and emails from customers and partners. Therefore, it is important for the candidate to have excellent communication skills and to be confident on the telephone.
This position would suit a candidate looking for a varied role which will allow them to gain valuable skills in many different operational functions. The candidate may be looking to start or further their career within business administration, with a real ability to progress within a growing business. For this role we would expect the candidate to have some work experience and knowledge in business administration and previous experience in a similar role is desirable. We also require the candidate to have good organisational skills where they can prioritise tasks, keep adequate records of progress and achieve deadlines, along with strong verbal and written skills. The candidate must also be confident on the telephone and be able to resolve issues and queries with suppliers, partners and customers.
The candidate must be competent in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
A basic understanding of mobile phone tariffs and equipment would be preferable but this will be supported.
No special requirements. The Individual will be based at Zest4 offices at 50 Alderley Road, Wilmslow, Cheshire, SK9 1NY, and will be required to work normal office hours 09.00am – 17.30pm, Monday – Friday. Some out-of-hours work may be required occasionally.
